Extended Highlights
MAIN EVENTS
450 Race 1
Ken Roczen grabbed the win in race one. He stalked the early leader, Justin Cooper, for most of the race but made a decisive pass with 1:30 left on the clock. The two would yo-yo back and forth in the whoops and the rest of the track but Roczen held the top spot through to checkers.

Justin Cooper took the holeshot and led most of the race ahead of Roczen. It took Roczen 13 laps to get around Cooper as the number 32 put up a strong fight. After getting passed, Cooper stayed close and later finished second.

Points leader Chase Sexton raced to third. Sexton battled with Justin Hill early in the race and lost the tow to the leaders. He was nine seconds behind second place.

450 Race 2
Justin Cooper again found himself at the front of the pack with another holeshot in the second 450 race. He led Chase Sexton for the early laps and went back and forth with the points leader before the two crossed wheels and Sexton ended up on the ground. This allowed Cooper to stay up front over his teammate Cooper Webb.

Webb eventually tracked down the early leader and made the pass for the lead with a fast line around the outside of the sand section. He took control of the lead and looked to break away from second place.

Chase Sexton remounted after his tip over and put himself back in a podium position. The KTM rider found himself right on the back end of Webb in the final laps but was unable to make a pass stick. The two points leaders crossed the line just two seconds apart.

450 Race 3
The final 450 race saved the best for last. Ken Roczen once again put himself up front and in the lead after the second turn. The Suzuki rider looked to capitalize as both Webb and Sexton started outside the top five.

Sexton eventually made his way to second and played cat-and-mouse with Roczen at the front. As these two blocked eachother, Webb closed in to make it a three rider battle. Sexton got to the lead but later stalled the bike and had Webb all over his rear fender.

Webb made the pass around Sexton for the lead and held the advantage going into the closing laps. Even with Webb in first, Sexton was still in position to take the night’s overall win. The number-four was not satisfied with a second and on the final lap he made a last-stitch effort to pass for the lead by splitting between Webb and a lapper.

Sexton tucked the front and crashed into Webb, dropping him from first to fifth. This mistake dropped him out of the overall win and back to third on the night.

Cooper Webb claimed the night’s overall win with 6-1-1 finishes and now leads the championship points by five over Sexton.

Jason Anderson rode his best in the final race and made a late charge to land on the podium. After Sexton’s crash, both Anderson and Roczen rounded out the box in second and third respectively.

250SX
250 Race 1
Haiden Deegan came away with the win in the first 250 race. After starting outside the top five, the Star Racing Yamaha rider fell in the sand section and made things even more difficult on himself. He pushed his way through the field and found himself in a late-race battle for the lead with Jordon Smith and Coty Schock.

With two laps to go, Smith crashed spectacularly through the whoops which allowed Deegan to take sole possession of the lead. This crash also moved Schock to second with Michael Mosiman rounding out the podium.

Cole Davies got close to the podium and finished just behind his Star Racing Yamaha teammate Mosiman. Early race leader, Jo Shimoda, crashed in the sand and later finished fifth.

As the field stormed into turn one, Cole Davies hit the deck and held up a number of other riders including Haiden Deegan. This put Deegan in the back of the pack as Michael Mosiman took off with the early lead.

Mosiman continued to lead with Garrett Marchbanks and Coty Schock in third. The Star Racing Yamaha rider circulated at the front of the field for nearly the entire race as Deegan marched his way forward. On the final lap Deegan forced a pass on his team mate to take over the lead and the win. He now leads the night with two wins.

Mosiman improved one position over race one and collected second in race two. Marchbanks crossed the line third with Schock in fourth.

250 Race 3
Cole Davies rebounded after his crash in race two and started up front in the final main event of the night. After a sketchy run through the whoops he made the pass for first around Coty Schock and took off with the lead. He went uncontested to take the win, but finished seventh in the night’s overall rankings.

Haiden Deegan rallied to second in the third main. He battled with Julien Beaumer and exchanged a number of block passes before leaving the points leader behind. Deegan did not need to win race three and his 1-1-2 results still gave him the overall win. He now leads the series championship by six points.

Jo Shimoda finished third in race three. After a mid-race fight with Beaumer, the Anaheim 1 winner rallied to a podium.

Coty Schock grabbed the holeshot and later finished sixth. He held off Michael Mosiman in the final few corners and earned second overall with Mosiman in third.
