This is a press release from Sherco USA…
San Antonio, TX – Sherco USA is proud to welcome Ryon Land to the MotoTrials team roster. Land, who previously competed for Vertigo and Lewisport USA, has been making a name for himself on the international trials scene. He has spent the previous three seasons under the tutelage of riders such as Jaime Busto and Adam Raga, as well as competing in Spain in the Spanish Trial Championship. After winning the events he attended in 2022 in the Cadet 125 class, he came back to clinch the Cadet 125 Championship undefeated in 2023 with his brother, Dalton, acting as his minder. In 2024, Ryon moved up to the Junior class on the 250cc and was able to secure yet another Championship title with the help of minder Martí Terricabras.
For 2025, Land will compete again in the Spanish Trial Championship, this time in the Trial2 class aboard a 2025 Sherco 300. He will also make the move to challenge the Trial3 class in the Hertz FIM Trial World Championship aboard a 2025 Sherco 125, joined again by Terricabras in both series. He will also rejoin competition stateside for the final round of the AMA NATC National MotoTrials Championship Series in Tippecanoe, Ohio, as well as try his hand at EnduroCross in the Junior class.
When asked about his decision to accept a position under Sherco USA’s support, Land had this to say: “I think it’s just a great opportunity to try something new and go from there. I think it was good for me and the family to try and see what other opportunities come with it, especially now that I’m going to be doing the American rounds as well as the World Championship and Spanish Championship. I want to become world champion. I don’t have a set goal to beat anybody but Toni [Bou]; I think that’s everybody’s dream. I’m going to try my hardest, and if I can’t beat him, then my goal is just to become the best I possibly can be.”
At just 15 years of age, Land is making impressive headway in his trials career and is helping keep the United States on the map in international trials.
