Rich Simmons is the new team manager for the Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha 450 Team. The team’s former crew chief enters his fourth season with the Star Racing program. Jordan Troxell joins the team to fill the crew chief role.
“I’ve been with the team for three seasons as the crew chief, and I enjoyed that,” said Simmons. “I’m honored that Brad gave me the opportunity to step up into this role as the team manager. It’s a new challenge, but I’m looking forward to it. I’ve worked with Jordan in the past, so when looking for somebody to move into my role that would fit the team really well, he’s the first one that came to mind. I really trust his work and know his work ethic, and I think he’s a great asset to the team.”
“Simmons presented me with a great opportunity that I had to really consider and couldn’t turn down,” said Troxell. “It’s one of the best teams in the paddock, with some of the best riders on the track, and I know these boys pretty well. I’m just excited to bring my work ethic over here and to try and add to the program.” CN
