In this week’s Throwback we rewind 26 years to 1998 and that year’s AMA Grand National Championship finale at the Del Mar Mile just north of San Diego. That weekend Harley-Davidson’s Willie G. Davidson was on hand to celebrate a likely Harley-Davidson championship. It all worked out as Parker won the race and a record ninth AMA Grand National Championship. Parker was joined by three-time Grand National Champ Jay Springsteen and Willie G. for what was an instant classic capture.
