Moto Guzzi has unveiled a revised V7 platform for 2025. The V7 has, incredibly, been around for 58 years and Moto Guzzi themselves will notch 104 years of manufacturing next year in 2025, so it seems only fair to give the ol’ love some fresh love for 2024.
Each of the V7 models in the Sport, Special and Stone share the same 850cc motor that first saw business in 2021 but has seen the fitment of the 52mm throttle body and a four percent power increase, plus more torque from the charismatic V-twin across the whole rev range, with a claimed 67 hp at 6900 rpm and 58 lb-ft of torque at 4400 rpm
A ride-by-wire throttle is now evident which gives multiple throttle maps (Rain, Road and Sport) and cruise control.
V7 Sport
The Sport gets the most updates for 2025. The aforementioned three riding modes and cruise control are there, as are the updated 41mm inverted forks that have preload adjustment.
Braking capacity has increased 50 percent thanks to the four-piston calipers being mounted on each side of the front wheel rather than just on the right.
The gearbox has also come in for an examination, with first gear noise being reduced and the final drive features a larger double-jointed offset driveshaft with a stronger bevel gear for greater reliability.
Other goodies include updated switch gear and a fuel gauge.
The V7 Sport will set you back $10,690 and be in dealer floors in June, 2025 in the Verde Legnano (yellow) and Grigio Lario (silver) colors.
V7 Special
Basically the same updates as the Sport except no inverted forks and much more chrome for that classic V7 look. The V7 Special will cost $10,190 MSRP and again be available in June 2025. Colors for the V7 Special will be Nero Smeraldo (emerald green) and Bianco 1969 (white).
V7 Stone
Again, the same updates bar the inverted forks as the Sport but it retails fork gaiters and is the cheapest of the lot at $9690 MSRP. It’s a June 2025 arrival and it comes in the Nero Ruvido (matte black) and Blu Profondo (metallic blue) colors.
