Leatt Adventure Helmet Kits
Cycle News Staff | November 24, 2024
Leatt is launching its first adventure helmets in mid-December that will be sold as a kit with its 4.5 Velocity goggles and a Pinlock 120 XLT insert.
The first offerings are the 9.5 Carbon (pictured) and 8.5 helmets, which come with two faceshields, one photochromic and the other clear. The ADV helmets are made with anti-rotational technology, which reduces impact forces and harmful brain-rotational acceleration.
Leatt have announced that the helmet will be sold as a kit, a unique offering that caters to adventure riders every need right out of the box. Alongside the helmet itself, the kit includes a photochromic shield which makes use of the latest UV technology, as well as an additional clear shield. The PinlockĀ® 120 XLT ensures fog-free visibility, and the bulletproof 4.5 Velocity goggles are perfect for off-road trail riding and all included in the kit.
Both the Leatt ADV 9.5 Carbon and the 8.5 adventure helmets have ECE 22.06 and DOT certifications. They are also two of the few premium helmets on the market with additional anti-rotational technology, increasing rider safety by reducing impact forces and brain rotational acceleration.
Prices for the ADV helmet are $799 for the 9.5 Carbon and $599 for the 8.5 Composite. The helmet is expected to arrive in the market from mid-December.
