Movie Centered on the Life of Fictional Up-and-Coming Supercross Riders

In this week’s Throwback we dial back the clock to 1987 and visit the local multiplex to watch the then new movie “Winners Take All.” This movie promo photo features Broc Glover and Robert Krantz, who both starred in the movie. The film focuses on the rivalry and camaraderie of two young up-and-coming Supercross riders mixed in of course with a love interest back story. The movie produced some great taglines like, “Some riders are afraid of losing and others are afraid of winning, which one are you?” But it flopped at the box office and was panned by reviewers. Regardless “Winners Take All” has a cult following among a segment of Supercross fans from that era because of how cheesy it was.
