Hungry Valley SVRA (AKA, Gorman) Temporarily Closes

Hungry Valley SVRA (aka, Gorman), the popular off-road riding area in Southern California, has been temporarily shut down.

California State Parks has issued a full closure for the Hungry Valley State Vehicular Recreation Area (SVRA) in Gorman, California. The park sustained extensive damage from last month’s Post Fire, which burned over 15,500 acres and is closed until further notice. Due to extensive damage and hazardous conditions, State Parks has not fully assessed the damage to all the park’s infrastructure and resources.
