Walsh Will Sit Out Remainder of 2024 Supercross Season
Cycle News Staff | April 2, 2024
Despite an impressive comeback after injury at the Seattle Supercross, where he qualified 13th for the 250SX West main event, Host Grindstone Kawasaki’s Dylan Walsh says he needs more time to heal from an internal injury that he suffered at the Anaheim 1 Supercross that nearly cost him his life and will sit out the rest of the Championship.
A team statement read: “Dylan had an amazing preseason, and it’s unfortunate he wasn’t able to show the work that was put in. But we all know it’s part of the sport. We will keep plugging along and working on getting stronger and race ready!”
Max Sanford will fill in for Walsh.CN
