2023 Ducati Desert X vs 2013 KTM 990 Adventure Bike Test Video

We put two unlikely machines head to head in this week’s adventure bike comparison test. First up a 2013 KTM 990 Adventure. Used bikes offer a lower point of entry but the time (and money) spent on fixing parts or modifying the bike to your liking can start to add up. On the other end of the spectrum is the 2023 Ducati Desert X, a modern top-of-the-line ADV machine. The Desert X has an obviously higher price tag but offers more premium features not found on the older KTM. Can 10 years really make that big of a difference? It’s time we find out.
