New 2024 KTM RC 8C Prototype Model Specs and Price

The third iteration of the KTM RC 8C has just been unveiled. Limited to 100 editions worldwide and available only at KTM.com, the pre-order of which will go live on March 20 at 15:00 CET, the 2024 RC 8C uses a KTM 890 Duke-based motor that pumps out a claimed 135 hp, wrapped in a 25CrMo4 steel tubular frame and running a 43mm WP Apex Pro 7543 closed-cartridge fork and WP Apex Pro 7746 shock.
Brembo provides the brakes in the 19RCS Corsa Corta radial brake master cylinders, orchestrating Brembo Stylema front-brake calipers gripping 290mm fully floating brake discs attached to Dymag forged-aluminum wheels.
The electronics have also been upgraded. The RC 8C runs an AIM MXS 1.2 Race dashboard and data logger with built-in GPS functionality. Displayed on a five-inch TFT screen with continuous data recording capability, riders can use AIM RaceStudio to scrutinize specific performance metrics.
The RC 8C was developed by Kramer Motorcycles and is essentially a GP2-890RR with a few extra carbon wings bolted to it. We raced the GP2-890RR last year at the Barber Vintage Festival and did a deep dive on the machine with its creator, Markus Kramer (Check it the video here)

The 2024 KTM RC 8C will be available to order exclusively online via a dedicated preorder portal, along with the ability to book the ultimate handover session at Portimão, Portugal. This will include a personalized track setup session, private dinner, meet and greet, an exclusive track day experience with KTM racing royalty, and to top it off, KTM will be unveiling something super-special as a world exclusive previewing of what is to come from the brand.
Pre-orders open March 20th at 15:00 CET / 7 AM PDT. Regions/countries participating in the pre-order will be Europe, USA, Mexico, and South Africa.
