Michael Craig and Doug Henry Up Front Early
In this week’s Throwback we dial back the clock 30 years to the 1994 Daytona Supercross. This photo shows the start of the main event with riders funneling through a turn. That’s Michael Craig (No. 19) in a good position on the inside line. Doug Henry (No. 8) is also in an excellent position up front, as is Ryan Hughes (No. 22). Doug Dubach (No. 32) appears to be hung out to dry on the outside line pushing him to the very edge of the track. You can also clearly see Jeff Stanton (No. 5), Denny Stephenson (No. 27) and Mike Healy (No. 29) in the Donn Maeda photo. Team Kawasaki’s Mike Kiedrowski emerged to score his second straight Daytona Supercross victory. The next year the “MX Kied” would make it three in a row at the famous race.
