Lackey and Roberts World Champs, Glover Motocross des Nations and two-time GP Race Winner

In this week’s Throwback we dial back the clock 22 years and go to the opening round of the AMA Supercross in Anaheim, California. Photographer Mitch Friedman captured an epic shot with (l to r) Brad Lackey, Kenny Roberts and Broc Glover. Lackey was the first American to win the 500cc Motocross World Championship, Roberts was the first American to win the 500cc Road Race World Championship and Glover was a six-time AMA National Champion, a Motocross des Nations winner and a two-time Motocross Grand Prix race winner. Some solid racing credentials among the trio don’t you think?
