MotoGP recently released the second season of ‘There Can Be Only One.’
The five-episode series focusing on the 2023 World Championship battle will be available to stream from Friday, January 26.
Buckle up for the ride of a lifetime as MotoGP fans brace themselves for the highly anticipated second season of There Can Be Only One. This gripping five-episode documentary takes viewers on a rollercoaster of emotions, detailing the quest for MotoGP supremacy in a cutthroat 2023 season.
The stage is set, and 21 fearless riders share a singular ambition—to snatch the coveted crown from the reigning champion, Francesco Bagnaia. Bagnaia, the 2022 World Champion, is the first rider in over a decade to carry the iconic number-one plate on his bike, a symbol of MotoGP excellence. But as the saying goes, There Can Be Only One, and the challengers are ready to dethrone the king.
In a cinematic blend of exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes footage, witness the drama unfold as six contenders, including World Champions Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP) and Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP), the seasoned Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing), and rising stars Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing), Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46 Racing Team), and Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo Team), vie for the ultimate glory, as Red Bull KTM Factory Racing also put themselves into the mix on a regular basis. The story kicks off in Portugal, where the historic Tissot Sprint format is introduced, setting the stage for an incredible journey that culminates in a nail-biting title showdown in Valencia eight months later.
This documentary is not just about success; it’s a raw and unfiltered portrayal of disappointment, capturing the highs and lows of a record-breaking 20-race season. Through never-before-seen footage, explore the triumphs of the 2023 World Champion and the heart-wrenching struggles of those who fought tooth and nail but couldn’t conquer the indomitable force that is Francesco Bagnaia.
All five episodes will be available to watch on VideoPass on Friday, January 26th. Make sure you tune in then!
