The Best In The Desert schedule for 2024 has four races planned and, for first time, all races will include all BITD classes (Motorcycle, ATV, UTV, Truck and Car).

Best In The Desert’s exciting four-race 2024 series promises to be a thrilling and competitive season, attracting the top teams and individuals in off-road racing. With a focus on creating an exhilarating atmosphere, Best in the Desert (BITD) delivers thrilling competition in every class. This is the first time all races will include all BITD classes: Motorcycle, ATV, UTV, Truck and Car. Competitors will have to showcase their skills and strategies to secure victory.

BITD Announces 2024 Championship Points & Starting Order Updates
The latest updates to the Championship Points process and Starting Order procedure for the motorcycle class in the 2024 season are below:
- Driver Of Record / Race Team DOES NOT have to start all events to qualify for a class championship
- BITD championship series will allow one throw-away race
- The throw-away points will apply to the lowest placed race finish position points at the end of year (See the Points Table at bitd.com for further details on calculations on finish position points)
- Must race 75%, 3 of the 4 race series to qualify for a class championship
- Start / Finish Points
- All event starters will receive 15 start points per event
- All event finishers will receive 30 finish points per event
- Regardless of the throw-away race, each starter and finisher will receive these race points
- Motorcycle Class
- Top 5 race event starting positions will be based on series points standings
- Remaining entries will go to a random draw for start position
- Must be entered at the time of drawing to be awarded start position
- Qualifying Classes
- Time Trials events for qualifying races will include:
Golden State 250
Vegas to Reno
- Start position for qualifying based on a random draw held 2 weeks prior to the race event
