Mitas has three new tire offerings for adventure, rally and sand riding since its release of the enduro Terra Force-EX range, which was announced just a few months ago. The adventure Enduro Trail-XT+ and Enduro Trail-Rally announcement are followed by October’s Terra Force-MX Sand 2, all of which are coming this fall.
Mitas Enduro Trail-XT+ Tires
The new Enduro Trail-XT+ tires from Mitas are for riding mostly off road, but are street legal for paved roads and highways.
The all-season M+S-rated tire has an aggressive tread pattern for traction on the toughest of trails. The tires come in two versions, a standard for all-around performance in any weather and a Dakar version, which has a reinforced carcass for added durability and puncture resistance.

This newest Mitas tire will soon be released in two different versions: Standard–for the best all-around performance in any weather and the Dakar–with its Ultra Heavy-Duty compound for maximum durability and a reinforced carcass making it virtually puncture proof.

Mitas Enduro Trail-Rally Tire Range
The Enduro Trail-Rally line from Mitas are competition-ready rally tires that were developed using feedback from Dakar Rally racers.
Expected to be in Mitas dealers this fall, the new line of tires includes one rear and three front options for varying terrain and weather conditions at high-speed rally competitions. For extreme endurance competitions, the puncture-proof and durable Enduro Trail-Rally Pro has front and rear options. The MH (medium to hard terrain) front tire is optimized for heavy gravel and rocky paths, while the SM (soft to medium terrain) front tire is best for deep gravel and sand.

The ENDURO TRAIL RALLY PRO front is designed to ensure directional stability at any lean angle and maximum braking capacity on a broad spectrum of terrain types.
The ENDURO TRAIL RALLY MH front is specifically designed to ensure directional stability at any lean angle and maximum braking capacity on medium to hard terrain types such as heavy gravel and rocky paths.
The ENDURO TRAIL RALLY SM front is specifically designed to ensure directional stability at any lean angle and maximum braking capacity on medium to soft terrain types such as deep gravel and sand.

Mitas Terra Force-MX Sand 2 Tire
The Mitas Terra Force-MX Sand 2 tire has a newly designed tread pattern featuring deep (19.7mm) paddles with wide voids for traction when accelerating, cornering and braking in sandy terrain.
The hard rubber compound and the beefed-up sides have been engineered to ensure maximum cornering and braking control. Classified as NHS (Not for Highway Service), the Sand 2 comes only as a rear fitment.
- Designed for MotoXross racing in deep soft sandy terrain offering outstanding traction as well as cornering and braking stability.
- High performance hard rubber compound and specially designed carcass with increased lateral support gives it incredible traction and control.
- Recommended for MotoXross motorcycles and available only for the rear.

The new TERRA FORCE-MX SAND 2 features a deep (19.7 mm) paddle design with wide voids for ultimate traction when accelerating, cornering and braking and available only for the REAR. We recommend using in conjunction with either the TERRA FORCE-MX SAND front or the TERRA FORCE-MX SM front.
The tire structure and compound were developed in collaboration with Valentin Teillet and Alvin Oslund.
It is identified by its characteristic 2 red stripes and is classified as NHS (Not for Highway Service).
