Troy Lee to Receive the 2023 Edison Dye Motocross Lifetime Achievement Award

Dubya USA and Glen Helen Raceway are proud and excited to announce that the 2023 recipient of the Edison Dye Motocross Lifetime Achievement Award will be the iconic motocross racer, artist and moto product painter/innovator Troy Lee.
Troy Lee is the latest recipient of the prestigious Edison Dye Motocross Lifetime Achievement Award
Known for his groundbreaking work as a racer, artist and innovator, Lee revolutionized motocross artistry, particularly in helmet painting, visor design and safety equipment. His remarkable talent has attracted champions from various disciplines, including AMA, NASCAR, Indy Cars and Formula One.
Lee’s journey began as a teenage motocross racer in Southern California, painting helmets for friends. With encouragement from Jody Weisel, he turned his passion into Troy Lee Designs, which is now one of the world’s top custom helmet paint shops. The brand not only supplies gear to elite motocross and mountain-bike athletes but it also embodies a commitment to innovation, safety and style.
The award presentation will take place on November 4 at 7 p.m. in the Glen Helen Museum, honoring Lee’s immense contributions to motocross where he joins other legends of motocross, such as Jeremy McGrath, Roger De Coster, Johnny O’Mara, Bob Hannah, to name a few.
