Riders Endured Heavy Rain at the 1991 Charlotte Supercross
In this week’s Throwback we dial back the Wayback Machine to April 20 of 1991, location, Charlotte, North Carolina, and that weekend’s AMA Camel Supercross Series Round 12. Just as the featured main event was lining up on the starting gate, the skies opened up and the racers and were drenched as it poured for nearly the entire event. Jean-Michel Bayle took the victory, while Tichenor finished sixth.
