The FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX) season kicks off this weekend in Villa Park, Birmingham, England and no matter where you are in the world, you’ll be able to catch all the action. In 2023, fans will have access to race coverage through the WSX.TV and Race Day Dash.
10 teams will be competing in three back-to-back main events for a prize purse of $250,000 at every round of the 2023 FIM World Supercross Championship. There are heat races to decide gate selection, while a Superpole session for the WSX class makes further points available for the top-three qualifiers, which is new in 2023. The purse is split across the WSX (450) and SX2 (250) classes where $40,000 (1st), $30,000 (2nd), and $20,000 (3rd) is awarded to the podium finishers in the WSX category, while the winner of the SX2 will receive $16,000.
WSX announced their three Wild Card riders for Birmingham, including:
- Dylan Woodcock (UK)– SX2 – raced in 2022
- Jack Brunell (UK) – WSX – raced in 2022
- Charles Francois (France) – WSX – new for 2023
The WSX series is available to more than 180 countries and 500 million households in 2023, fans can watch live, as-live or replays via the extensive broadcast partner network. For the first time, U.S. based-fans can watch the series live via WSX.TV. Subscribers will have access to the WSX Pre Show as FREEMIUM content, allowing them to view unique and exclusive behind-the-scenes action.
There are three passes available to viewers:
- Freemium ($0) – Allows access to limited WSX Championship content and race recaps.
- Pay-Per-View (US$8.99) – Allows direct streaming access to the races you want to watch.
- Champ Pass (US$49.99) – Allows access to every 2023 WSX Championship race.
