Suzuki hosted the second stop of its 2023 RM Army Boot Camp Experience at Perris Raceway, in Perris, California, May 25. The Suzuki RM Army Ride Days gives Suzuki owners the opportunity to do laps on a top-notch and well-prepped track for free and experience all things Suzuki.
The Perris Ride Day was a big success. The facility was a sea of yellow, with Suzuki RMs of all sizes and model years taking to the track throughout the afternoon and early evening. The HEP Suzuki team rigs were also on hand, as were team riders Frederik Noren, Kyle Chisholm, and Marshal Weltin that put in a few laps.
Team personnel like race manager Larry Brooks and mechanics were also in attendance.
RM Army attendees receive free entry, event merchandise, tours of the team semi-trucks, food and refreshments, along with the chance to ride with their favorite Suzuki athletes. Mechanics are also available to aid in bike setup and professional tech tips.
“The series of RM Army Boot Camp events throughout the country is to show appreciation for the loyal Suzuki RM and RM-Z owners,” said Suzuki’s Felix Teodoro. “We want to give back to our Suzuki customers and have a unique experience of feeling part of the Suzuki/Pipes Motorsports Group. Having Pipes Motorsports Group there provides an opportunity to speak and gain knowledge from experienced race team manager, Larry Brooks, Ken Roczen’s mechanic, Travis Soules, and a chance to ride and speak with racers from the HEP Motorsports teams.”
There are four more stops on this year’s summer tour, including one at Spring Creek MX Park in Millville, Minnesota, July 13, and Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville, Indiana, August 24. A Midwest and a Mid-Atlantic RM Army Ride Day are also on the schedule but locations and dates are forthcoming.
