Ian Hutchinson Joins TT TV Lineup For 2023
Cycle News Staff | May 16, 2023
Sixteen-time TT race winner Ian Hutchinson will join the TT broadcast team later this month, after having been forced to withdraw his entry from 2023 Isle of Man TT Races.
This is a press release from IOMTT Races…
His TAS Racing team confirmed that Hutchinson suffered a stroke while training in Spain in March, and while he’s made a swift and full recovery, his racing license has been revoked for 12 months as part of standard protocols by motorcycling’s racing body.
Hutchinson–still the only man to ever win five races at a single TT–will instead take on punditry duties alongside Steve Plater and Cameron Donald across the live broadcasts on TT+ and the race highlights coverage on ITV4.
ITV4 will also be broadcasting an hour-long feature, ‘Ian Hutchinson: TT Legend’, on Monday, May 29 May as part of the build-up coverage to this year’s event.
Live coverage for the 2023 Isle of Man TT Races is available exclusively on TT+ with the TT+ Live Pass. On sale now for a one-time purchase of £19.99, the TT+ Live Pass brings you uninterrupted live coverage of every qualifying session and race across the TT fortnight, as well as the ability to watch again at a time that suits you.
