Registration opens on April 6 for the annual 69-mile Nicky Hayden Memorial Bicycle Ride, scheduled for June 9, in Southern California.

Poway, CA (April 2, 2023) – Just as Nicky Hayden fans have been doing annually for the last five years, June 9, 2023, will mark the day we once again gather to celebrate the legacy of “The Kentucky Kid” with a memorial bicycle ride that fans across the globe can join. This is truly an international event so in addition to the 69-mile ride in Southern California, we’re encouraging everyone to map out a route for either an outdoor ride or one on your indoor trainer wherever you call home. If you don’t have a bike to ride, how about walking 6.9 miles!
No matter where you are, with every pedal stroke you’ll be joining an international community spinning on two-wheels in honor of the 2006 MotoGP World Champion. In addition to the ride, the So Cal site (to be determined) will be hosting a family-friendly environment where cyclists and friends can enjoy the day with food trucks and games.
Registration for the ride will open on April 6, and as always, the 69 Miles For Nicky Ride is free to participate in! Further details for the ride will be announced soon, but remember, we’re just 69 days out from throwing a leg over our bikes so be sure to save the date and register as soon as possible. In addition to the ride details, there will also be some exciting news on the coming release of some official Nicky Hayden 69 gear.
