Nate Thrasher Atlanta Crash Update
Cycle News Staff | April 17, 2023
Nate Thrasher posted an update today after a crash at the Atlanta Supercross forced him out of the race. Thrasher, the former Atlanta winner, was running fourth in the 250SX main event when he crashed in the whoops late in the race. The crash left him with a broken collarbone and a dislocated hip.
“Unfortunately, I had a hard crash in the main which caused me to dislocate my hip + break my collar bone. They were able to put my hip back in place but, when I got a CAT scan they noticed a few bone fragments so we are still waiting to get surgery on that.”
An injury like this will likely sideline the Star Racing Yamaha rider for the rest of the Supercross season. We wish Nate a speedy recovery and hope to see him back on track soon!
