The final round of the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship took place in Gliwice, Poland with the championship on the line. Defending champ, Billy Bolt, swept the night with three wins in the triple crown format and ultimately secured his third career SuperEnduro title.

Bolt clinched the title after winning race one. He led early on and only made one major mistake during the race. This allowed his main rival, Jonny Walker to close in but not enough to make a pass. Bolt took the checkers, and with it, the world championship. Walker finished second with home-country hero Taddy Blazusiak rounding out the podium in third.
Race two flipped the grid and put the front runners on the back row. Bolt, now sporting the number one plate, somehow came out in the top three and quickly found his way into the lead after a few short laps. Walker made his way into second as Cody Webb and Blazusiak battled back and forth during race two. A mistake from Walker allowed Webb and Blazusiak to move up a spot, but Blazusiak also bobbled and ended up off the podium. Webb managed to grab second over Walker in third.
The final race of the night served as the last chance for anyone to take the top step of the podium. Bolt grabbed yet another holeshot and went untouched for the entire race. Three race wins in Poland put the final Bolt in the coffin of another dominant season.
Behind Bolt, Webb and Blazusiak went at it again. Webb made his way into second but tangled with a lapped rider and hit the deck hard. This crucial mistake put Blazusiak into second and allowed Walker to finish third. Walker and Blazusiak finished second and third, respectively, in the overall championship.
In all, Bolt won 13 out of 15 motos in the championship. “What can I say? It’s been an incredible season!” said Bolt. “This is my third world title in a row, but with each one they get that little bit sweeter. Coming into the night, I knew I had a comfortable points lead to play with, but I wanted to go out there and give my best. Topping SuperPole helped the nerves, and I rode hard in race one knowing that if I won, I would also win the title. That felt so good. Race two was incredible, too. Overall, it’s been great, but hard fought at every round, too. Naturally a big thank you goes to everyone involved in helping to achieve this. It’s a big team effort, for sure.”
“What a night!” said home favorite Blazusiak. “It was a tough battle the whole way and I gave it everything I could. Coming into the final race it was tight on points for third overall in the championship and I knew I had to send it! I was riding well and managed to make some aggressive moves to get up to second position. It’s been so nice to get third overall in the championship in what’s been a hard season. I came in injured and on the back foot, but we never quit.” CN
Overall
- Billy Bolt (Hus) 63
- Jonny Walker (Bet) 49
- Taddy Blazusiak (GG) 45
