The 2022 season marked the most successful in the history of Ducati Motor Holdings with Francesco Bagnaia taking the gold in MotoGP and Alvaro Bautista doing the same in WorldSBK.
To celebrate such an occasion, Ducati is producing a limited run of 260 editions of replicas of Bagnaia’s and Bautista’s race weapons with the same livery an authenticity certificate, dedicated technical equipment and packing case.
The bikes will be identical in specification, whether you go for a Bautista or Bagnaia model, but get extra goodies like a single-seat configuration, a billet aluminum upper clamp with laser engraving of the model name and progressive number, a nine-disc STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, Akrapovič street-legal silencer (4.4 lb lighter than the Panigale V4’s stock unit), Brembo braking Stylema R calipers and MCS master cylinder with a remote adjuster, Rizoma billet aluminum adjustable footpegs and racing plexiglass.
Carbon fiber has also been used for the rear exhaust manifold heat shield, alternator cover, front and rear fenders, front brake ducts, and the swingarm cover.
The only difference, aside from paint and graphics between the two bikes, is the Bautista bike will have a brushed aluminum tank and silver wheels, similar to the V4 R.
Each bike will be delivered in a packing case with dedicated graphics and a certificate of authenticity, a custom bike cover and the Ducati Data Analyser+ data acquisition system. And if you want to go on track with the bike, there are additional accessories provided, like the carbon fiber open clutch cover, license plate and mirror removal kits, and the billet aluminum racing fuel cap.
How much? Well, if you have to ask… These very special replica Ducati Panigale V4 S motorcycles will set you back an impressive $63,000 and will be arriving in dealerships in the fall of 2023, right around the time you’ll find out if Bagnaia and Bautista managed to make it back-to-back titles.
