2023 Dakar Route Announced

The 45th edition of the Dakar Rally—the first round of the 2023 FIA and FIM World Rally Championship—is scheduled for December 31, 2022 to January 15, 2023 and will take place for the fourth time in Saudi Arabia.
After a start on December 31, 2022 in a Sea Camp on the Red Sea, the competitors will cross the now familiar sites of AlUla, Ha’il and Riyadh, before staying for four days in the Empty Quarter. At the end of nearly 5,000 kilometers spread over 14 stages, the 45th edition of the Dakar will reach the shores of the Arabian Gulf with a finish on January 15, 2023 in Dammam.
