Alpinestars’ new Nucleon Flex PROi is a full-length back-protection insert. The lightweight Level 2 CE- and UKCA-certified protector is roughly 22 percent longer than the average back-protector insert.
It features a highly ventilated hybrid of flexible Nucleon cell and Nucleon Flex protectors that disperse impact forces. The vented insert is lined with soft 3D mesh, and it has snaps to secure it inside Alpinestars suits and jackets.

Alpinestars has also released a new Nucleon Flex Pro protection vest ($189.95), which also uses the ventilated hybrid of Nucleon Cell and Nucleon Flex protectors, and, additionally, it provides chest protection in a soft-touch perforated mesh chassis. It has a front zipper along with an adjustable elasticated waist band.
