2023 Beta RR-S Dual Sport Models First Look
Cycle News Staff | July 17, 2022
The 2023 RR-S dual-sport models from Beta feature updated ECU mapping, which includes traction control, a first for Beta’s dual-sport bikes.
Traction control made its Beta debut last year in the Racing range. The RR-S’s traction control function is selectable by the rider from a button on top of the fuel tank. The rider can disengage traction control at any time. Since the traction control is calibrated for each of the two maps, this effectively gives the rider a choice of four different electronic-control configurations.
In other big news, the 2023 RR-S models get updated forks with a new internal design. The RR-S’s overall suspension package is the same as the standard RR two- and four-stroke models. The linkage-mounted rear shock has been re-tuned, as well.
Radiator shrouds are narrower and give the bikes a fresh look, as do the new graphics.
The RR-Ss again come equipped with the Trail Tech Voyager GPS meter.
The RR-S dual-sport models will be offered in four engine displacements: 350cc ($11,499), 390cc ($11, 599), 430cc ($11,699) and 500cc ($11,799).
Availability is scheduled for November. CN
