Elora, TN (June 28, 2022) – Motorsports fun for the entire family will be on and off the track during the American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA) Classic MotoFest of Monterey Swap Meet and Festival July 15-17, 2022, at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.
AHRMA, in collaboration with Laroque Motorsports, is presenting an action-packed weekend of exciting motorcycle and sidecar road racing on the iconic WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca track, off-road and dirt track racing along with a vintage bike swap meet, vintage motorcycle show by Hagerty and the Family Fun Zone. Additional event activities include Pacific Motorcycle Training’s rider training, Motul’s Moto Museum and California Motorcycle Safety Program’s “Slow Race.”
Maurice Laroque-Turgeau, president of Laroque Motorsports states “Fun for the whole family, there will be plenty to see, and do as you browse the diverse selection of vintage motorcycles, parts, collectibles and accessories. We’ll have vendors covering almost 100 years of motorcycling plus a wide variety of activities to experience including the “Vintage Motorcycle Show by Hagerty.” Also included will be participation by the Antique Motorcycle Club of America (AMCA) and the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club of America (VJMC).
“And this is a Family Friendly event,” continues Laroque-Turgeau, “with something for everyone from the youngest to the oldest with our partnership with the children’s book series “Mimi and Moto” (mimiandmoto.com) and, including for the first time, our Strider Bike (striderbikes.com) Adventure Zone. And to the delight of children of all ages, Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit. There will also be an autograph session including Isle of Man racers and several sidecar teams with bikes on display. And for the entire family, we will be featuring a classic motorcycle movie Saturday Night, 7pm, free admission with your event pass. Food vendors will be open until 7pm.”
Next to the Festival area will be the Motul Moto Museum in the Turn 3 Hospitality building which will feature vintage motorcycles from Moto Talbott (mototalbott.com) and Jameson’s Classic Motorcycle Museum. For an additional fee, peruse vintage and historic motorcycles while getting a stellar seated view of road race action at Turn 3. Refreshments will be available for sale.

On Friday evening, the California Motorcycle Safety Program (motorcyclesafetyca.com) will sponsor AHRMA’s “Slow Race” in the road race paddock. You may be the fastest on the track but try riding the slowest on a pit bike! Winner will be awarded a trophy and $250. Registration will be in the road race tech garage all day on Friday.
And even more fan activities outside the facility! On Thursday July 14, Bike Night will be held at Baja Cantina, 7166 Carmel Valley Road in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Motorcycle riders, owners and enthusiasts are encouraged to bring their bikes out and engage in this community event. It’s an opportunity to meet AHRMA racers, check out their vintage race bikes, purchase tickets and enter a raffle.

The American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA) is taking the AHRMA Classic MotoFest of Monterey experience to the next level by offering access to the exclusive WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca Turn 3 Hospitality Pavilion.
The Pavilion offers unobstructed views of racers navigating the surprisingly tricky Turn 3 while enjoying refreshments of your choice, in comfort. Its convenient location in the heart of the paddock immerses race fans in all the action on and off the track.
A two-day VIP Package includes the following:
- 2-Day Admission & Paddock Ticket for Saturday, July 16 and Sunday, July 17

VIP Package tickets for adults are $350 and $90 for children between the ages of 5 and 15 years old.
AHRMA is returning to the iconic WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca for its second AHRMA Classic MotoFest™ of Monterey. With the mission of restoring and racing on and off-road vintage motorcycles while appealing to a wide array of different audiences, it’s an event that fits in with the historic aura of the original Laguna Seca.
The MotoFest weekend will attract anyone who is a fan of classic and modern motorcycles. The event features classes for motorcycles spanning pre-World War II up to modern single, twin and triple-cylinder and electric-powered racers as well as sidecars. It is more common to see some of these bikes in museums, but AHRMA events are a unique opportunity for moto lovers of all ages to watch and enjoy heritage motorcycles in a very interactive experience for guests to enjoy.
