Kawasaki will field two teams, one in the West and one in the East, in its off-road racing effort in 2022.
In the West, Kawasaki’s racing program will be conducted by the Chaparral Motorsports/Precision Concepts/Kawasaki Team Green organization in the WORCS and NGPC Championships. In the East, the Babbitt’s Online/Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green outfit will focus on the GNCC Championship.
Zach Bell and Tyler Lynn will compete in both the NGPC and WORCS Championships in the Pro class. Lynn won the Pro 2 titles in both NGPC and WORCS in 2021.
In GNCC, Josh Strang returns in the XC1 class, and he will be teamed up with Lyndon Snodgrass, who will compete in the XC2 division, as will returning riders Joseph Cunningham and Grant Davis.
“I’m really excited to get the 2022 race season started this February,” said the veteran racer, Strang. “Knowing I have such a passionate and supportive group of people that have my back the way everyone at Babbitt’s Online/Monster Energy/Kawasaki Team Green does, makes it easy to give them my all every day. We’ve put a lot of time into our testing this off-season and have gotten the new KX450X set up even better than before. It’s going to be a good year, I can’t wait!” CN
