RPM Racing introduced its four-rider team that will campaign the 2022 WORCS, AMA NGPC, AMA West Hare Scrambles (WHS) Championship, AMA Extreme Hard Enduro Championship, GNCC and U.S. Sprint Enduro Championship.
Kaitlyn Jacobs, who won the 2021 AMA WHS Women’s Pro Championship and finished second in the WORCS and NGPC series, will return to continue her quest for more wins and championships.
Will Riordan, who won the 2021 EnduroCross Junior Championship and finished sixth in the AMA Extreme Enduro Championship, will return to compete in both series in 2022.
Mateo Oliveira, who won several WORCS 250 Pro and AMA NGPC Pro 2 races in 2021 before injury set him back in his pursuit for those championships, will again compete in both championships.
Angus Riordan, who finished second in the 2021 WORCS 250 Pro Championship, will shift his efforts towards the GNCC XC2 and U.S. Sprint Enduro Pro 2 series in 2022.
Tim Weigand, KTM Off-Road Team Manager, said, “RPM KTM Racing Team continues to build a platform to develop talent. This provides opportunity for future up-and-coming KTM Factory riders to be successful. I am looking forward to working with the team and riders as they fight for more race wins and championships.”
Owner RPM Racing Team, Mike Hurlbert, said, “I’m looking forward to what our team and riders can accomplish in 2022. Each of the riders raced for us in 2021. We all have a really good working relationship. The team chemistry feels as good as ever. We have a broad race series schedule with great exposure for our sponsors.” CN
