2022 Ducati Streetfighter V2 First Look Rennie Scaysbrook | November 11, 2021 Ducati has filled a rather gaping hole in its line-up for 2022 with the arrival of the new Streetfighter V2. As you may have guessed, the Streetfighter V2 is essentially the Panigale V2 minus its clothes, although there are a few differences with the Superquadro 955 cc engine output slightly less at 150 hp and 75 lb-ft of torque, compared to the sport bike’s 155 hp and 76.7 lb-ft. Just like the big brother… Nakedbike fans around the world will be pumped to see Ducati finally making a Streetfighter version of the Panigale V2. The same aluminum monocoque chassis has been employed with a 0.6-inch longer swingarm, with fully adjustable 43 mm Showa Big Piston Forks up front and a Sachs shock and steering damper completing the picture. The Streetfighter’s looks mimic those of the bigger brother V4, but you won’t be getting wings as standard. You can buy them in either carbon or plastic via the accessory catalog if you absolutely must have them. The brakes are mid-level items in the Brembo M4.32 four-piston monoblocs gripping 320 mm discs up front, with the five-spoke wheels wrapped in the new Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV rubber. As for the electronics, you get 4.2-inch TFT display and a six-axis Bosch IMU that mitigates Cornering ABS with Slide Control, traction, wheelie and engine brake control and an up and down quick shifter as standard. You’ll also get three riding modes in Sport, Road and Wet, and the system can be programed to use the Ducati Data Analyzer and Multimedia system for navigation and phone pairing. The Streetfighter V2 will be available at Ducati dealerships in North America starting in February 2022 in the Ducati Red color with black rims for $16,995 MSRP.
