2022 Benelli TRK 800 First Look Ryan Nitzen | November 23, 2021 Benelli has announced the launch of their brand new adventure bike, the TRK 800. Designed in Benelli’s home base of Pesaro, Italy, the TRK 800 joins the brand’s best-selling 500cc model and extends the TRK lineup. Benelli’s been developing this one for a while, we can’t wait to ride it! This new adventure model is powered by a liquid-cooled 754cc twin-cylinder, four-stroke engine, the one mounted on Leoncino 800. It boasts 76.2 horsepower and 90 lb-ft of torque at 6500 rpm. The engine features continue with a double overhead camshaft with 4 valves per cylinder and a 43 mm diameter dual throttle body. A torque-assisted wet slipper clutch and six-speed gearbox also come standard. 50 mm Marzocchi forks are mounted to a tubular trellis frame atop a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel. The suspension offers rebound, compression, and spring preload adjustments with a rear monoshock to match. Benelli included a large adjustable fairing, handguards, and baffles which provide protection for both rider and passenger. Brembo brakes are equipped with double 320 mm diameter semi-floating discs and a four-piston caliper up front, along with a 260 mm diameter disc and a single-piston out the back. The cockpit is adorned with a spacious seat for the pilot and passenger, passenger grab handles, and a 5.5-gallon fuel tank. The new TRK 800 also sports a high-resolution seven-inch color TFT display. Benelli dealers will begin stocking this bike during the second half of 2022 but the price is still to be determined.
