Topeka, KS (June 15, 2021) – Old motorcycles brought new sights and sounds to Heartland Motorsports Park in Topeka, Kansas, during the Memorial Day weekend.
The American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA) Classic MotoFest in the Heartland featured more than 1350 vintage-motorcycle entries for road racing, motocross, observed trials and cross-country competitions and more than 50 entries for the highly anticipated Bike Show. Additionally, hundreds of spectators attended the Classic Drags, sponsored by Luke’s Racecraft.
Other highlights of the AHRMA Classic MotoFest in the Heartland included a swap meet that stretched longer than a football field and a myriad of family activities and entertainment that engaged the crowds throughout the weekend.
“In addition to all the local residents that came out for the fun, we saw visitors from all over Kansas and Missouri as well as from across the country,” said AHRMA Executive Director, Curtis Comer. “We are thankful to Visit Topeka and our other regional partners that supported us in creating a great family-friendly motorsport event here in the heartland. We can’t wait to build on this year’s success.”
