2022 Triumph Bonneville T120, T120 Black and T100
The classic Bonneville T120, T120 Black and T100 return with lower-emissions from their twin engines. The 1200cc T120 and T120 Black models now have cruise control and come with lightweight aluminum wheel rims, and higher-specification brakes (Brembo front twin-disc and 2 piston sliding calipers). The new T120’s engine mass has been reduced through the use of a lighter crankshaft. Together with an optimized clutch and balancer shafts this has also reduced inertia, which should provide a more immediate and responsive throttle. The upgrades add up to 15.5 pounds of less weight than the previous T120.
The T120 comes in Jet Black, Cordovan Red/Silver Ice, and Cobalt Blue/Silver Ice. The T120 Black comes in a choice of Jet Black, Matte Jet Black or Matte Graphite. The 2022 Bonneville T120 and 2022 Bonneville T120 Black are expected to be on dealer floors in May, with an MSRP of $12,050.
The T100 model shed around 8 pounds and gained 10 more horsepower (claimed) from its 900cc twin engine. Here are the numbers from Triumph: peak power is 10 hp higher than the previous generation, at 64 hp at 7400 rpm, while peak torque is 59 lb-ft at 3750 rpm, with 80% of peak torque available all the way from 2000 rpm to 7000 rpm. Triumph says that the updates give the new Bonneville T100 increased power and torque from a low 3500rpm and all the way up to the rev red line, which is 500rpm higher than the previous version. It also received a Brembo brake upgrade to the front brakes in addition to new cartridge forks.
The new Bonneville T100 is available in Lucerne Blue/Fusion White, Jet Black, or Carnival Red/Fusion White. It is expected to be available in March and has an MSRP of $10,500.
2022 Triumph Bonneville Street Twin and LE Street Twin Gold Line
The 900cc Street Twin was restyled with new bodywork, a more cushioned seat, new machined cast wheels, and brushed aluminum detailing. Emissions are lowered, according to Triumph. One-thousand units of a limited-edition Street Twin Gold Line will be released in June, with a list price of $10,150.
This Street Twin Gold Line model will come with hand-painted gold details on matte Sapphire black paint.
The price for the Street Twin is listed at $9400, with color choices of Cobalt Blue, Matte Ironstone and Jet Black. It is expected this month [March].
2022 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster and Bonneville Bobber
The 1200cc Bonneville Speedmaster ($13,150) and Bonneville Bobber ($13,150) models, like the other 2022s, have lower emissions. They both get higher-specification Showa cartridge forks and the Bobber also gets a Brembo brake upgrade, a larger fuel tank (3 gallons), a 16-inch front wheel and blacked-out paint scheme.
The Speedmaster comes in Jet Black, Fusion White or Sapphire Black and lists for $13,150. The Bobber has the same pricetag and comes Matte Storm grey, Matte Ironstone, Cordovan Red scheme, and Jet Black. Both of these bikes are expected to be in dealers now [March].
Along with the Bonneville models, Triumph plans to release new Scramblers in April.
