Poway, CA (December 10, 2020) – The previously announced partnership between chassis specialist thyssenkrupp Bilstein and German carbon-wheels manufacturer thyssenkrupp Carbon Components has reached another milestone with sales of carbon-fiber motorcycle wheels now available in the NAFTA region.
Beginning in December 2020, Bilstein of America is serving as the official importer and distributor of thyssenkrupp Carbon Components’ line of braided, ultralight carbon fiber motorcycle wheels in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
North American customers can now enjoy the full range of thyssenkrupp Carbon Components motorcycle wheels, covering a number of applications from leading manufacturers including flagship models such as the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade and the Yamaha YZF R1 range, as well as others from Aprilia, BMW, Kawasaki and Suzuki.

Having achieved ABE, DOT E and JWL certifications, thyssenkrupp Carbon Components carbon fiber motorcycle wheels are the only carbon wheels certified street-legal worldwide.
