The Moto Guzzi V7 will come in for one of the biggest updates in its history in 2021. The 2021 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone and V7 Special will use the same 853cc, transverse V-twin motor as present in the V85 TT Travel, bumping capacity up 100cc and delivering a 25 percent increase in peak horsepower, with the company claiming 52 horsepower at 6200 rpm and 53 lb-ft of torque at 5000 rpm.
There’s longer travel twin rear shock absorbers, new footpeg support brackets, rear mudguard and side panels, and a new, two-tier seat.
Guzzi engineers have also fitted a wider rear wheel, with tire size going up from 130/80-17 to 150/70-17.
Depending on which model you go for, there’s a few aesthetic differences between the Stone and Special. Available in Nero Ruvido, Azzurro Ghiaccio and Arancione Rame color schemes, the Stone will get the full LED light system and a Daytime Running Light (DRL) in the shape of the Moto Guzzi Eagle, black aluminum wheels, shocks, exhausts and fork gaiters, and a digital instrument cluster.
The Special, on the other hand, has the option of Blu Formale and Grigio Casual colorways and will be graced with lots of chrome in the spoked wheels, exhausts, shocks, mirrors, and passenger grab rail, plus the classic dual dial analog instrument cluster for speedometer and rev counter.
The 2021 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone will retail for $8990, while the Special will fetch $9490, with both models expected to be on dealer floors by March of next year.
