Trilobite, based in the Czech Republic, may be a recent addition to the U.S. market, but they’re an established brand in Europe and are known for their unique combination of retro styling, high-performance materials, and top-notch protective gear. Marketed as adventure gloves, the Trilobite Comfee Men’s Gloves are made of Amara, which is a soft and comfortable synthetic leather. Additionally, the material offers excellent grip and is often used in motocross gloves.
But the Comfee Gloves far exceed your everyday MX gloves in that they offer advanced features like fingertips that are touchscreen compatible, so you can scroll and tap without removing them. They’re also engineered with enhanced safety features like high-density soft-molded inlayed knuckles, flexible TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) joint protection, super strong aramid lining inside for protection, and a reinforced palm. To make them even more comfortable, Trilobite includes elasticized four-way ventilated mesh with leather panels on the backs of the precurved fingers for better movement. A Trilobite-embossed logo as well as drum-dried grade A leather with a dirty waxed finish provide additional style on the sides and pinky finger. Available in size small through double XL, with a retail price of $49.

Trilobite Comfee Gloves Rider Analysis:
The manufacturer markets these gloves as adventure gloves, but they’ve quickly risen to the top as my favorite gloves for everyday riding. They’re tight to get over your hands initially, but once they’re on, they are some of the most comfortable gloves I’ve ever worn, and I love the fact that, when stopped, I can scroll my phone for mapping information or to see if anyone is trying to reach me without taking them off. To make them easier to get on, there’s a little Trilobite logoed, CE approved steel button on the underside of the cuff that helps you pull the glove over your hand. I also like the styling—it’s a bit retro with the waxed leather on the sides, and the embedded high-density knuckles are just plain cool looking.
The gloves provide great ventilation, and since they fit tight around your wrist, it’s easy to funnel cool air up the sleeve of your jacket, which is great on hot summer days. I was unfamiliar with the Trilobite brand prior to this and the review of their Micas Urban Jeans, but they are now a brand that I have really taken a liking to.CN ~Keith Dowdle
