(June 10, 2020) – The 2020 Season of the Kenda AMA National Enduro Series was able to continue finally after a four-month break due to Covid-19. The second round took place at the Cherokee National Enduro in Greensboro, Georgia. The trail conditions were near perfect and the weather was nice and hot as you would expect in Georgia in June. We had a couple of additions after the first round to the Beta Cup. Some were because the picked up a new Beta bike and most notably was Broc French. Broc competed in the Beta Cup in 2020 before being deployed for active service, which lead to him missing round one at Sumter as well. Broc finished a solid fifth place in A 200 on his Beta 125 RR at the Cherokee National Enduro. Thank you for your service Broc, and welcome back to racing.
Kylie Harris was able to extend her points lead (48pts) in the 2020 Beta Cup with a win in the Women’s Amateur class at the Cherokee National Enduro. Kylie is racing the Beta 200RR and had a great performance this past weekend. Hot on her tail was classmate Amber Aubain. Amber scored a podium position in third at the Cherokee in the Women’s Amateur class. She sits second in points, at 36 points. Moving up to third in points is Paul Weber. Paul scored a second-place finish in the C 50+ class on his Beta 125 RR.
It is still not too late to join the Beta Cup for 2020. We have had two races so far this year, but the series allows for a two-drop system. Joining now you can still count all six best races of your season. Go out and get yourself a new Beta 125 or 200 to compete in the Beta Cup Class to have your chance at winning a new Beta two-stroke of your choice!
A new Beta 300 RR is on display at every National Enduro located under the white Beta E-Z Up. We also have stickers and brochures available at registration. Be sure to check it out and feel free to sit on it.
