SRC Moto is now offering wide footpeg adaptors for several models of adventure bikes (Honda CB500X, Kawasaki Versys 650 / 1000, Suzuki V-Strom 650 / 1000).
“We heard many complaints from riders regarding the stock footpegs on most adventure bikes that the pegs did not provide much support or grip especially when standing up for gravel and offroad riding, which in our experience, is never a good thing for confidence,” Scott Hart, president of SRC Moto & Moto Stuff said. “We saw the opportunity to provide these easy to install footpeg-widening adapters to solve the problem; they make a big difference.”

The stainless-steel footpeg adaptors have an aggressive tooth profile and can improve grip, especially when standing up on the pegs for gravel crossings, sandy terrain or muddy conditions. The additional width and aggressive tooth profile offer about more contact surface to reduce foot arch strain and improve grip.
The wide footpeg adaptors are available for $68 per pair and can be installed with common hand tools.
