Press Release | January 8, 2020
“Bootcamp is like a fine wine; it only gets better with time,” says Boot Camp founder, Colin Edwards.
2020 marks the 10th year of Colin Edwards’ Texas Tornado Boot Camp, the Yamaha Motor USA- and Yamalube USA-backed motorcycle training facility.
Texas Tornado Boot Camp (TTBC) kicks-off its year in early February with the sold-out and popular week-long Racer Camp. Racer camp features a week of riding and training with the world’s top racing athletes. Making a return to TTBC for the fifth year will be special guests and British Superbike racers, Peter Hickman, James Ellison and American Flat Track racer, James Rispoli.
Racer camp is scheduled for February 3-9 and includes drills, riding activities, races and a day on the pavement at SpeedSportz Racing Park in New Caney, TX.
Also, on the schedule for TTBC will be two, four-day camps surrounding the Austin MotoGP event. The Pre-COTA (March 29-April 1) and Post-COTA (April 6-9) camps are a favorite among campers. There is always a possibility of riding alongside top MotoGP athletes while at the 21-acre ranch.
Texas Tornado Boot Camp offers an end of the year four-day event, the Halloween edition of Boot Camp in October.

“10 years, where does the time go,” says Boot Camp founder, Colin Edwards. “Bootcamp is like a fine wine; it only gets better with time. I’m looking forward to all of our events going on this year. Racer Camp is going to be epic as per normal, COTA camps with a bunch of MotoGP attendees all amped up, and finally our traditional “bring a costume” Halloween camp at the end of the year. Plus, all of our awesome nights of Mad Dog & Dirt Wars events. Pick an event and come have four of the best days on planet earth… Bikes, guns, gourmet food, and a few beers at night with some old war stories. See ya there!!!”
