Wickenburg, AZ (January 19, 2020) — AMRA Racing kept January hot with a second round in Wickenburg, Arizona for the SOLLiD’s Day In The Desert Enduro.
The course for the A class ran over 100 miles, B class approximately 90, and the C class approximately 60 miles. Motocenter had onsite support as the series sponsor, SOLLiD Cabinetry, hosted the pro purse and Fly Racing hosted the mini races as the returning series sponsor. AAA Arizona held the Fastest Test Award and TBT Racing held the Slowest Test Award.
The Minis started the weekend on Saturday with a small desert loop containing deep sand washes and rocky single track. The smallest of the peewees started on a short loop with the 50cc classes, finishing as follows:

The Big bikes took to the course Sunday in a huge turnout. The race started with a Hare Scram-ble start with a 25 mile loop going into the enduro tests following that. The A’s would finish all the enduro loops and then conclude with a final 25 mile Hare Scramble loop to finish the day.
With class starts in a high speed sand wash, all classes took off with short intervals between rows. In the AA Pro class, it was a tight battle between Beta USA’s Joe Wasson, Hard Enduro Outfitters Sherco of Nick Brawner and RPM Racing/ DA8 Training’s KTM Cooper Abbott for the win. Wasson would pull ahead throughout the day and take a cumulative six and a half minute victory over Brawner. Abbott would have a final time two minutes behind Brawner to round out the top three. Other notable performances in AA include James Flynn in his second race aboard the Motocity Sherco finishing in fourth. Wasson would also win Fastest Test and Lane Buchert would win the Slowest Test.
