Troy Lee Designs’ Skully helmet was first introduced as part of the team kit for the TLD/KTM riders at last year’s Red Bull Straight Rhythm.
The new Troy Lee Designs Skully Gear started out as a special one-off team kit for the TLD/KTM riders last year at the Red Bull Straight Rhythm. There was such a huge response to the Skully gear, that the team at TLD decided to create a version that everyone could wear. The SE4 Composite Helmet ($479) comes with MIPS, incorporating brain rotational protection. This featherweight helmet comes in at only 1425 grams. The 20 intake ports channel cool air around and over a rider’s head, forcing hot sweaty air out through six rear exhaust ports.
