Kelly Yazdi and The Wild Gypsy Tour

Kelly Yazdi is someone we’ve featured before here at Cycle News, but that was a couple of years ago.
In that intervening time, Yazdi has entrenched herself in the American moto industry with her Wild Gypsy Tour taking pride of place in the Buffalo Chip at Sturgis each year.
The Wild Gypsey Tour has since expanded to include stops in California, Colorado, Minnesota, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington and West Virginia, as well as Vancouver Island in Canada, making it one of the largest platforms for female motorcycle culture not just in the U.S., but on a global scale.
“Women have always been riders and catalysts within the industry,” says Yazdi. “Our sisterhood is made of up women from all walks of life and ends of the globe, and we welcome all types, bikes, kinds, and colors.
“Female motorcycle bike ownership has doubled in the past decade or so. The industry is catching on to us and we now have gear that’s specifically designed for female riders. We hope to keep building on that progress.”
Yazdi and The Wild Gypsy Tour have teamed up with Wrangler jeans to create this video on not just the tour, but Yazdi’s influence on female motorcycle culture. Check it out.
