2020 KTM Six Days & Erzbergrodeo First Look
Cycle News Staff | August 15, 2019
KTM introduced its ready-to-race special edition Six Days models—the 300 XC-W TPI and the street-legal 500 EXC-F Six Days—and the all-new, limited edition 300 XC-W TPI Erzbergrodeo, which pays homage to the 25th running of the 2019 edition of the Erzbergrodeo extreme off-road race, which is held in Austria, home of the KTM factory.
The Six Days and Erzbergrodeo KTMs started out life as standard EXC-F and XC-W TPI models but fitted with a long list of special parts plucked right out of KTM’s PowerParts catalog. KTM chose parts that would benefit the special needs of the ISDE and Erzbergrodeo (or any similar extreme race) competitor. Most of the upgrades are to protect the bike and its rider, or to improve the bike’s durability, or to just make the rider’s life a little easier on the trail. The Six Days and Erzbergrodeo models share many of the same upgrades, but the Erzbergrodeo gets at least one unique part that the Six Days doesn’t get—pull straps. The Erzbergrodeo is offered as a limited edition model. Only 500 units will be available. CN
