This week’s issue of Cycle News magazine includes full coverage from the Assen MotoGP, where Yamaha finally got back on top of the box with Maverick Vinales. Jared Mees won the Lima, Ohio American Flat track event after a tight battle with Jeffrey Carver and Henry Wiles. Shayna Texter took the singles class win over her KTM teammate Dan Bromley. Marvin Musquin won the Southwick 450 MX National over Zach Osborne and Eli Tomac. Adam Cianciarulo took his fifth win of the season in 250MX with Dylan Ferrandis and Justin Cooper rounding out the podium. Cycle News road test editor Rennie Scaysbrook set a new course record to win the Pikes Peak hill climb but the event was marred by the death of Carlin Dunne, the four time winner and defending champion.
