Highlights include a new frame that KTM says has been developed in “collaboration with KTM factory racers [that] features improved stiffness for outstanding handling and straight-line stability.” There are new aluminum head stays for improved engine fixation, and a 40mm longer subframe, which KTM says provides improved rear fender stability.
A new exhaust system is more compact and shorter for better mass centralization, and there is a new 2-piece header design for improved performance and easier mounting.
There is also a new stronger and lighter Lithium-Ion battery.
Radiators are redesigned for improved cooling, and the cylinder head is 200 grams lighter and features new flow-optimized ports for improved engine performance. There is a new piston, reworked crankshaft, lighter engine cases, and a new 6-speed transmission that’s been beefed up.
Both the WP XPLOR fork and WP XPLOR rear shock (PDS) have been updated, as well.
