Costa Mesa, CA – AGV, the global leader in moto helmets since 1947, today announced Trade And Save, a new program to give moto enthusiasts across race, sport, and touring the ability to ensure they are protecting their head with the best possible equipment. With Spring in the air and riders getting ready for the warm months ahead, this is a perfect opportunity to make sure that your most important piece of safety equipment is new and offers the best design and function for your riding style.
The AGV Trade And Save program runs from March 15, 2019 through May 15, 2019. The program is available at Dainese Stores and participating retailers only. To participate, bring a trade-in helmet from any brand to a D-Store or participating retail partner, where a professional will remove the straps of the old helmet and provide a coupon for 20 percent off the purchase of any new AGV helmet.

The average life of a helmet depends on many elements including the frequency of use, conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.), as well as care and maintenance. The quality of a helmet’s polystyrene and upholstery tend to decline over time, as do the mechanisms and strap when subjected to wear and tear. AGV suggests replacing your helmet every three to five years from the date of purchase. However, if there are signs of deterioration on the cap, strap, polystyrene or mechanisms – or particularly after any impact – it’s important to replace your helmet.
