Floyd’s of Leadville of Colorado was launched in 2016 by former pro cyclist Floyd Landis. Floyd’s of Leadville markets its products directly to athletes looking for a natural recovery supplement.
The team is lead by legendary tuner and 4x Daytona 200 race winning, multi-time AMA Superbikes Champion and FIM World Superbikes Championship Crew Chief, Gary Medley. Gary brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.
Tyler O’Hara stated: “We just finished up a two day test at Sonoma Raceway on our freshly prepped Floyd’s of Leadville Kawasaki Ninja 636 and put it through the paces. I’m very happy with how the test went, the bike is extremely fast for a 600 and very easy to ride. I’m really looking forward to the challenge of racing the Daytona 200, it’s such a prestigious race and the one race I’m aiming to win this year. I’ve surrounded myself with the best crew guys in the paddock and we are well prepared. I have no pressure, I’m going to have fun and enjoy the race.”
The opportunity to join forces with Floyd Landis and represent his company, Floyd’s of Leadville CBD, is an incredible honor for me as a professional athlete and team owner. My commitment is to showcase the brand in a professional manner through my motorcycle coaching. While racing motorcycles and attending high profile events throughout the country helping educate athletes about healthy natural recovery supplements and the numerous benefits of CBD.
The team will be in Tucson, Arizona on March 8 for a Floyd’s of Leadville motorcycle-unveiling party in conjunction with Floyd’s Pro Cycling team announcement.
The O’Hara Racing team is based in Petaluma, California. Tyler has had a very successful professional motorcycle racing career since 2005. He has earned nine AMA Pro Road racing XR1200 Harley Davidson race wins and has always been a championship contender. He is also a 2x Daytona winner.
In the 2018 season, he earned his United States Motorcycle Coaching association certificates of completion and started a one-on-one rider coaching program on a Kawasaki ZX10R as well as a Ninja 400R rental program he runs on the Sonoma cart track. Tyler also competed and won at the prestigious Pike’s Peak International Hill Climb in the light weight Supermoto division.
