Toni Bou has been injured in a fall suffered during a exhibition on Honda Thanks Day, held last weekend at the Motegi circuit in Japan.

The Repsol Honda Team rider, once back in Spain, underwent an examination by the team doctor Joaquim Terricabras who concluded that Toni Bou had suffered two fractured ribs. Dr. Terricabras has recommended that multi-time trial champion rests over the forthcoming weeks. A return to training will be dependent on the progress of the recuperation process.
The rider will be hoping to be fully recovered for the start of the X-Trial World Championship which kicks off in Budapest on Sunday, January 20.
